    We are registered psychologists working with children, young people, adults, and their families. We also consult with schools, public and private health providers, and the Ministry of Education.

    With highly diverse skill sets, we are able to draw from a wealth of experience and a range of services that can applied to your specific situation. We have found from our own experience that there is no one way to address the mental health and well being needs when it comes to working with children, or adults. We draw on what we know works, but are always open to thinking outside the box to help our clients on their pathway to success, whatever they may wish that to be.

    We will work with you, at every step, so that you feel supported. We can also assist in working alongside you with other agencies, schools, providers, and employers.

Mi'Te

We at Mi’Te have a range of supports and services that can be tailored to your individual needs. We work with children, young people, and their families to assist in managing the behaviours associated with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Global Developmental Delay (GDD). These are serious developmental disorders that may significantly impair the child’s ability to communicate, acquire education, and interact with others. This work may additionally extend into working alongside respective schools, assisting teaching staff and providing training and resources when requested. A full range of treatment conditions that we can assist with can be found in our Services section. We also work alongside adults with a variety of mental health and wellness concerns. As adults, we are constantly juggling the day to day demands, and responsibilities, of living a life. Coupled with this, we may loose sight of longer term goals. When this happens, unhappiness, anxiety and depression are often found contributing to the daily stresses that we manage. We are also able to provide parenting and family support, with a particular speciality for those with children with special needs. Disharmony can be destructive with long lasting effects, and difficult to repair without support. You do not have to struggle alone.
